R-422B (NU-22B™) is an HFC blend (R-125 / R-134a / R-600a ≈ 65 / 31.5 / 3.5 wt %) designed as a drop-in replacement for R-22 in existing residential and light-commercial air-conditioning and medium-temperature refrigeration systems.

Key properties
• Zero ODP, non-flammable (ASHRAE A1)
• Operating pressures and capacity within ±5 % of R-22—no TXV or compressor changes required
• Compatible with mineral oil (MO) and alkylbenzene (AB); POE is optional
• Net 25 lb cylinder typical (cylinder + packaging ≈ 32 lb)
